ABOUT LIAM CURBESON

Marketing Coordinator, content creator, and videographer with a passion for helping brands grow through creative, data-led campaigns.

For the past three years, I’ve worked in marketing for two of the East Coast’s biggest attractions — Fantasy Island and Skegness Pier — where I planned and delivered campaigns that grew audiences, increased engagement, and boosted revenue. Highlights include:
-
Growing Fantasy Island’s Facebook by 13,400+ followers and achieving 2M+ TikTok views in just 12 months.
-
Increasing Skegness Pier’s Facebook reach from 186K to over 918K in two years through revised video strategy.
-
Leading the Fear Island 2024 campaign, creating all video content, graphics and post copy, which reached 642K+ TikTok views and was shortlisted for Best Marketing Campaign at the UK Theme Park Awards.
-
Building strong relationships with press, influencers and production crews to ensure maximum exposure.

Before moving into marketing, I spent five years in live television broadcasting as a Transmission Operator at Ideal World. Working behind the scenes of live TV taught me the value of precision, speed under pressure, and solving problems in real time.
Alongside that, I built a freelance career in video production and editing, collaborating with clients such as Reckitt, Panavision, and Polypipe. From product launches to corporate livestreams, I’ve honed my ability to adapt to different industries while keeping the creative and technical standards high.

I’m equally at home behind a camera, editing suite, or analytics dashboard — whether it’s shooting and editing high-energy promo videos, designing graphics in Adobe Creative Suite, or refining content strategies based on performance data.

When I’m not working, you’ll probably find me at a gig, rolling dice at a D&D session, or exploring thematic experiences around the UK. I’m passionate about storytelling in all its forms and thrive on finding creative ways to connect brands with their audiences.
